NA-BSW1D Business Solutioning Workshop
This course equips learners with the skills to discern and articulate business problems, fostering a critical eye for continuous improvement. Learners will discover a logical and systematic framework to explore solutions, along with solution-focused methodologies to implement them effectively. By leveraging design principles and agile methodology, they will design and plan targeted improvements and innovations, ultimately driving positive change within their organizations.
This course is an SSG-funded course for Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents.
Learning Outcomes
- Define business problems, and project targeted improvements and innovations at the workplace
- Apply design principles in refining problem-scoping and improvement planning
- Apply solutions-focused methodologies in the solutioning process
- Apply a logical and systematic framework and mindset to explore possible technological solutions and transformations
- Leverage agile and other methodologies in setting a project plan for the solutions’ implementation
- Discern and justify opportunities for further continuous improvement and innovation
Prerequisites
- 2 years of working experience in any sector; and
- Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) 5 or equivalent
*Learners without the right WPLN or equivalent qualifications can be accepted if they have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in retail-related and/or supervisory roles, subject to the MR’s approval.
