Description
This course covers methods for implementing and managing enterprise-scale data analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Students will learn to use components like lakehouses, data warehouses, and data pipelines to create and deploy analytics assets effectively.
Learning Outcomes
- Ingest data using Dataflows Gen2 in Microsoft Fabric
- Use Apache Spark and notebooks for data ingestion into lakehouses
- Create and manage Data Factory pipelines for data orchestration
- Build and query lakehouses with SQL and medallion architecture
- Configure and use Spark for large-scale data analytics
- Work with Delta Lake tables for advanced analytics solutions
- Load, query, and monitor data warehouses in Microsoft Fabric
- Optimize Power BI performance and enforce model security
Prerequisites
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric core concepts, data orchestration, lakehouses, Apache Spark, Python, SparkSQL, Transact-SQL, fundamental data analytics concepts, and basic principles of a data warehouse.
